Mayoli's story

Mayoli is a skilled farmer from Pasto, Nariño. She has 12 years of experience in the agricultural sector. Mayoli owns a one-hectare plot where she grows green onions, which she cares for using natural pesticides that she makes by hand, which ensures optimal care for her crops. Thanks to this approach, her crops yield over 300 kilos every three weeks, which she can sell at the local market.

Mayoli is a single mother who lives with her son in a house gifted by her mother. Her son attends the local community kindergarten and is her main motivation in life.

A loan of 5,964,924 COP allows Mayoli to purchase organic fungicides that she can use in the fumigation of her crops, ensuring both their quality and productivity. These natural inputs help protect her plants from pests and diseases without harming the soil or the environment.
