A loan helped bring a healthy meal service to a low-Income community.

Susana's story

I'm a first-generation American born in San Jose, CA with parents from Mexico. I’ve always had a deep connection to my cultural heritage and a passion for health and nutrition. Growing up, I faced challenges in reaching my fitness goals despite working out regularly. This drove me to dive deeper into nutrition and bodybuilding, eventually leading me to compete in numerous bodybuilding shows and even win my overall class as a mother of two.

Through this journey, I learned the crucial link between nutrition and fitness and discovered the unique challenges of adapting cultural food habits for better health. I realized that in order to truly help friends and family struggling with obesity and health issues, I needed to create recipes that balance nutritional needs without sacrificing our beloved cultural flavors.

Seeing my own mother’s success in managing her cholesterol through these recipes confirmed that I had something valuable to share. I want to help others achieve healthier lives while still enjoying traditional, flavorful dishes.

Currently, my online business is stable, but providing consultations, nutritional classes, and grab-and-go meals is challenging due to limited scheduling and availability. I’m seeking a loan to transform my online business into a more impactful community resource.

This loan is special because:

It supports a small business owner with 0%-interest, zero-fee capital.
