The representative of this group is My standing on the far right in this photo. She is an ethnic minority woman living in a stilt house in a border village in a rural province. Being illiterate, her main source of income comes from agricultural activities such as cultuvating rice and breeding pigs, chickens.
Unfortunately, her husband has died for a few years ago so she raised her children all by herself. To increase her income, she took this loan to buy 2 more cows to expand her business as she has more than 10 years of experience. She plans to use the profit to repair her house to improve her living conditions.
Due to poverty, all of her children dropped out of school at the secondary level to go to work to earn money. Therefore, she hopes for nothing but a better future for her children. Thank you for this tremendous support from Kiva lenders.
