A loan helped to get productive infrastructure to improve the processing of coffee.

Jose Ismael's story

José Ismael is a coffee producer with a grand vision for agriculture. Moreover, he possesses 12 years of experience in managing and cultivating coffee.

He has a farm with 2.46 hectares of land, of which 1.75 hectares are for productive coffee crops. He lives with his wife and children on it. Besides growing coffee, he also grows malanga (a starchy root vegetable native to South America), beans and corn, but the main crop that generates the income he needs is coffee.

For José Ismael, it is a challenge to confront the hardships that come up every year. He is requesting financing for the purchase of materials, payment for labour and the construction of a coffee processing station, which will allow him to improve the coffee that he produces on his farm.

José Ismael has demonstrated that he is a responsible person. He has paid off all his prior loans in due time and manner. In season, he generates 12 jobs in the community.
