Koloina, 44 years old, is married and the mother of two children. She lives in a rural village where she runs a restaurant which offers plates of rice with accompaniments, all while raising pigs to diversify her income. A trust partner with Vahatra, she used the previous loan to improve her business, like constructing a new building for her restaurant. Today, she is asking for the support to the lenders for a new loan in order to buy the necessary ingredients for her dishes, notably rice, meat, vegetables and other things. She plans equally to buy some pigs to fatten and some feed. The profits will be used to build up her savings. The family plans to build their own house.
