A loan helped a woman-owned Colombian restaurant get a small food trailer to cater more sites, festivals & private events.

Olga's story

My name is Olga. I am originally from Cali, Colombia, and have lived in the U.S. for about 20 years now. As a street food lover, I have had the opportunity to try many different traditional street food options in different states, and from different countries. Being from Colombia, arepas are something that always accompanies our meals. In our country you can find arepas everywhere, either grilled with cheese or stuffed with delicious seasoned meats and variations. In October 2023, I decided to share my culture through delicious authentic street food options with local communities across the state of New Hampshire.

Over the past 10 months, my family and I have had great success with pop-ups throughout NH, where we sell our delicious arepas at festivals and breweries. Customers have continued to provide great feedback about our products, and demand is increasing. I would love to continue to grow my business to meet customer demand and be able to offer my authentic arepas to more communities in our state and surrounding areas. Over time, I plan to attend more festivals around New England.

This loan is special because:

It supports a small business owner with 0%-interest, zero-fee capital.
