Adamu Sanpoa's story

Adamu Sanpoa is a 43-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her husband and children in East Mamprusi district in Ghana. With her previous Kiva loan, she expanded her business, she sells hair products and cosmetics. She used the profits to support her education. Adamu Sanpoa is requesting another loan to buy more products (cosmetics and hair products) to expand her store. She plans to reinvest the profits into her business.

She will repay the ‘social interest’ on her second loan by volunteering 2.5 hours per week as a CAMFED Business Mentor, leading sessions to teach less experienced local women how to become successful entrepreneurs by developing their business acumen and sharing the lessons she learned from operating her business.
