A man with 18 years of experience raising livestock, he has worked at this activity with great effort and dedication. Currently, he has 11 head of cattle, including the calves, and has 5 recently calved cows which produce 35 liters of milk a day for him.
In addition to the cattle, he works growing basic grains such as corn and beans. While in the beginning of the planting, he uses traditional methods, later he applies mechanized techniques to the land, improving his production in this way. He also complements his income with buying and butchering pigs, and activity which he distributes in the zone.
This man is asking for a loan to purchase a stud bull and a heifer, as he currently does not have an adequate stud to improve the genes of his livestock.
With this investment, he hopes to strengthen his herd of cattle, improving his production and assuring the sustainability of his business.
He is grateful to Kiva for the opportunity to continue growing and hopes to continue being a model of work and dedication in his community.
