A loan helped to purchase DXN brand product to sell.

Franklin Leonardo's story

Don Franklin Leonardo is 39 years old. He is in a common-law relationship and has an 8 year old son. The wife is a merchant. In his native country he was a soldier. He migrated to Ecuador due to the instability of his country [Venezuela], inflation and the devaluation of the currency.

Franklin is a very hardworking man who, for reasons already known for a long time, decided to leave his country and that is how he arrived in Ecuador, a country that opened its doors to him and his family. For him, the situation at first was very difficult. In Venezuela he was a soldier and was not aware of other activities. After a while he began to work in a company that sold DNX brand products and food supplements, but only for commissions. He discovered that this was not enough to provide a decent life to his family and so he began to sell these products on his own.

Now, Franklin has many clients who always ask him for these products, which are very good because they are medicinal and organic products. He is very grateful to Kiva and Fundación ESPOIR since, with the loans,he has received, he is able to improve his life and that of his family.

This loan is to purchase a variety of DNX products.

Translated from Spanish by Kiva volunteer Ellen Wuertz.

This loan is special because:
