A loan helped to add stock to her business.

Scovia's story

Scovia is a refugee mother of three in school, living with her in Yumbe in the West Nile region of Uganda.

She's a farmer growing millet, simsim and beans. She also has a shop in her community with very many customers. She'd like to add more stock to the shop to boost her sales.

Her business has really expanded and the customers are really many though she is not able to supply all their demands due to limited stock.

Her dream is to start selling wholesale in bulk.

To be where she is today wouldn't have been possible without the support of VisionFund and Kiva. Scovia is forever grateful.

This loan is special because:

It helps refugees in Uganda rebuild and sustain their livelihoods.
