Sam's story

Sam B., 31, is married and resides with her family in Phnom Penh City, Cambodia, an area known as the most populated city in the country. B. is a tailor, earning an income of USD 2 per day to help cover the family expenses. Each month, the family has to spend USD 75 on food and USD 115 on the other necessary expenses. B. is requesting a loan of USD 500 to purchase a new sewing machine to expand the current business. In the future, she would like to use the additional income to repair her house.
