Isha Mohamed's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 42-year-old Isha Mohamed from Karene. She is a married business woman with three children between the ages of three years and 14 years old. Two are currently attending school. She started this business to take care of her family.

Isha Mohamed runs a retail business and sells ingredients for cooking to her customers around the community. She has been in this business for the past ten years. Isha Mohamed says that her challenge is the increasing price of transportation.

She requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more cooking ingredients, such as onions, palm oil, groundnuts, etc., to increase her business.

Isha Mohamed says that the extra income from this loan will help her to take care of her family. In the future, she would like to expand to a large scale. She says thanks to BRAC and Kiva for their support.
