A loan helped to buy corn and flour for selling pupusas.

Reyna Margarita's story

Reyna went to school through grade nine. She is married. Her husband works as a motorcyclist and her children are independent adults.

Reyna has two years of experience selling pupusas [thick corn tortillas stuffed with cheese, fried pork rind, chicken, or refried beans], a skill that she learned from her mother. Her place of business is in her home. Her schedule is from 4PM to 8PM. No one else helps her. She previously worked at the airport.

She will use the loan to buy corn and flour for selling pupusas. With this, she hopes to improve her business and increase her earnings.

Reyna dreams of increasing her sales of pupusas, as this will guarantee her better economic earnings. It will help to pay her loan with ease, and it will improve her living conditions.
