A loan helped to purchase baskets of cassava and chicken hearts to cook and sell.

Winnie's story

Winnie, 46, is a business-minded, strong mother of six children, aged 21, 20, 15, 11, 10, and 5. She is married and lives with her husband and children in a remote area south of Efate, which is roughly a 12-minute ride from town. Four of her children are in school and her husband is a construction worker. To make ends meet, she cooks and sells cassava and chicken hearts.

She launched her business four years ago out of self-motivation. The primary goal of her business is to provide financial support for her family. Her aim is to establish a permanent home for her family. Her current objective is to get cassava and chicken hearts to prepare and sell. However, she is in financial difficulty.

She is requesting a loan to pay for baskets of cassava and chicken hearts. The earnings from her business will be used to buy basic needs, children's school fees, and save for her future plans. This loan encouraged her to expand her business and secure a brighter future for her children.

Thank you for lending to support Winnie!
