A loan helped to buy more food stuffs to sell from her home.

Zulaika's story

Zulaika is a refugee mother of five children who all study and stay with her in Moyo, which is in west Nile. She is happy because her life is much better.

Zulaika has a small home stall that sells food stuffs and some other home consumption goods. Before she joined the group, she had almost lost hope and was almost starving.

But she joined this group, and her life has never been the same. Through her business she is able to provide a few basic needs for the family, although she is not able to give them all that they need.

She would like to add more stock so that she is able to sell more to pay school fees. Her dreams for the future are to continually grow her business and help her kids succeed.

To achieve all this, she is forever grateful to VisionFund and Kiva.
