Tenefoul Keur Amadou Group's story

This banc villageois was created in February 2014 by a group of women who work primarily in commerce. The group representative is Anta, pictured above to the right with her hand raised. She is 57 years old and married, as well as the mother of six children. Like many of the group members, she works in commerce, selling incense, cologne, and various other products for women.

Anta stocks up on merchandise in the central marketplace of her community. She benefits from several years of experience in this sector. Her income allows her to cover family expenses such as education as well as develop her business.
