A loan helped a member to buy fish.

Ang Cang 118 Group's story

Im is an ethnic minority woman and is standing on the right in this photo. She lives in a rural commune in a border province. Every day, she cultivates rice and breeds fish, chickens, and pigs to earn a living.

To expand her business, she took this seventh loan to buy baby fish. She has more than 10 years of experience and can sell fish at a good price. She plans to use the profit to invest in raising pigs.

Her first daughter is mature and works as a hired laborer. Im works hard to cover tuition fees for her second daughter, who is in grade 9. She hopes for nothing more than a stable income for her family and that her children will have a better life in the future.

Thank you for this support from Kiva lenders.
