Augustin's story

I am a certified trained butcher from France. After 5 years in the USA, I am starting my own sausage business. I want to craft flavorful sausages that will be found in the frozen aisle of your grocery store.

After completing an MBA in France, I went back to school to become a whole animal trained butcher. I worked in several different butcher shops in France and the USA. Four years ago I joined the production side of a meat wholesaler. I am now director of the meat production of a major meat distribution company in the USA.
Today, I want to fulfill my dream of operating my own manufacturing. That's why I have decided to launch a frozen line of sausages. I will start with three unique recipes: pork, Beef and Merguez. My products are made with carefully selected meat and with only natural spices. Sausages are made in natural pork casings.
I own the whole process of manufacturing from the recipe to the grinding to the packaging.

In December, I decide to join Union Kitchen food accelerator. Their expertise and knowledge of the CPG market led me to believe that they are a great partner for the success of Les Recettes D'Augustin. With their help I defined the mission and values of my business and get access to their distribution services and network of grocery stores.
The goal is to saturate the local market, then move to the regional market and then to move to the national market and, who knows, maybe international.
