A loan helped to acquire a new set of agricultural tools that will improve her crop maintenance.

Shirley's story

Shirley is a skilled farmer from Cajibio, Cauca, with more than 20 years in the field. She manages a one-hectare terrain that she purchased with great effort, harvesting approximately 5,000 coffee plants in various growth stages. Shirley collects two tons of product every trimester and uses organic fertilizers to boost the growth of her crops.

Shirley is a single mother who lives with her three children in a house acquired over 15 years ago. Her children are different ages and constantly help her with the terrain’s maintenance after coming home from school.

A loan of $1,212,214 COP helps Shirley to purchase a new set of agricultural tools. This investment aims to increase her harvesting efficiency, allowing her to produce more sustainable yields.
