Kula's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 32-year-old Kula from Blama Road branch. She is a married business woman with one child the age of 1-year-old. She started this business to take care of her family.

Kula runs a retail business and sells cosmetics to her customers around the community. She has been in this business for the past 7 years ago. Kula says that her challenge is the increase in prices of goods in the market.

She requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more cosmetics like baby oil, earrings, hair grease, napkins, etc. to increase her business. Kula says that the extra income from this loan will help to take care of her family. In the future, she would like to expand to a large scale. She says thanks to BRAC and Kiva for their support.
