Greetings from Sierra Leone!

This is 29-year-old Emma from Kandeh Town branch. She is a single businesswoman with one child who is aged 7 years old who is currently attending school. She started this business to take care of her family.

Emma runs a retail business and sells cooking items to her customers around the community. She has been in this business for the past 6 years. Emma says that her challenge is the increase in prices of goods in the market.

She requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more cooking items such as onion, palm oil, pepper and maggie etc. to increase her business.

Emma says that the extra income from this loan will help her to take care of her family. In the future, she would like to expand to a large scale.
