A loan helped purchase merchandise for her store.

Maria Rebeca's story

María resides in Jiquilisco in the Department of Usulután. She is 26 years old and a single mother of two children, ages 2 and 7. María sells household products from a store she manages in her home.

Her business has grown out of necessity since it is the means by which she is able to feed her children. She decided to start this business and now it helps her to support her household. María is requesting a loan to buy merchandise for her business since she has had opportunities when she ran out of inventory and lost potential sales.

Her goals are to expand her store even more, stock her inventory with more merchandise, increase her sales, and work to achieve a better financial situation so that her children can get ahead.
