A loan helped to restock and acquire new equipment for her cleaning business.

Rosalia's story

Rosalia, a 47-year-old Filipino woman, sought a better chance in Jordan, initially lacking sufficient experience. Learning the ropes of house cleaning from a friend, she found a passion for it and decided to turn it into her primary source of income.

Recognizing the growth potential in this field, especially considering the demand for cleaning services in her area, Rosalia took the bold step of establishing her own business. However, lack of capital presented a significant hurdle. Being a foreigner, she faced challenges in securing a loan until she discovered the MFW and successfully applied for assistance.

With the financial support received, Rosalia acquired various cleaning materials and equipment. Leveraging social media, she effectively marketed her services. Over the past three years, she has not only increased her monthly income but has also experienced a notable boost in self-esteem.

With aspirations for the future, Rosalia envisions opening a beauty salon under her name. To achieve this, she is seeking assistance with 800 JOD to restock and acquire new equipment.
