A loan helped to render more internet services to increase his business.


Sellu's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 48-year-old Sellu from Kandeh town branch. He is a married businessman with three children between the ages of 10 and 22 years old. They are currently attending school. He started this business to care for his family.

Sellu runs a retail business and renders internet services to his customers around the community. He has been in this business for the past 18 years now. Sellu says that his challenge is fluctuation in the supply of electricity.

He requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to render more internet services to increase his business. Sellu says that the extra income from this loan will help to increase his business and also take care of his family. In the future, he would like to establish it to a larger scale. He says thanks to BRAC and Kiva for their support.
