Lourdes Yesenia is 40 years old, has two children, is married, and lives with her family in a community in the municipality of Colinas, Santa Barbara.
For 7 years, she has worked in agriculture, growing plantains of excellent quality. The crop is located in an agricultural zone in the same community where she lives. She sells the harvests she gets at the local market.
She has had several loan cycles with ODEF and is currently asking for another one, for the amount of 12,000 lempiras, to use it to purchase soil amendments, fungicides, and foliar fertilizers. With good care, there are better results from the crops. Her dream is to expand the production level.
