08-Tessito Group's story

Set up in June 2009, this group comprises seven women from the same town. They are dynamic and enjoy a good relationship with one another. Their main income-generating activity is retail trading.

Astou, who is 40 years old and has her hand raised in the photo, is responsible for the group. She is married and mother to three children, and she has one girl to support.

Her new loan will be used to buy monkey bread, dried hibiscus flowers and thread for knitting and beading. She plans to open a shop to expand her business.
