A loan helped a member to buy utensils for retail sale.

Touba Toul Group's story

The banc villageois was created on April 21, 2010. It is essentially composed of women who live in the same village. They are energetic and hardworking.

Mrs. Diouma is the group representative and she is a 43-year-old mother of 2 children, a boy and a girl. She buys dishes to resell. She has been in the business for more than 10 years. She's the woman on the left in the photo with her hand raised.

She buys bowls worth 300 000 F, thermos worth 100 000 F, spoons, forks, and knives at 50 000 F. She pays 50 000 F for transportation to the village. She has been in the utensils trade for a long time and is doing well in it.

She has managed to retain her clientele, who only buy from her. She has quality merchandise that she sells at affordable prices. During times of ceremonies or Ramadan, her business does well because most of the villagers buy from her.

She uses her profits to support her husband in taking care of their children and to bolster her savings in the banc villageios.

In this group: Ndeye, Diouma, Khady Diouf, Mbene, Ndèye, Madame Sagna
