This banc villageois was created on April 21, 2010. It includes women who live in the same area. They are hard-working and support one another.
Mme Nogaye, the group representative, is 34 years old, married, and has eight children: two boys and six girls. Six of her children go to school. She buys bags of water and resells them in busy traffic areas. She has been in this business for several years and is doing well. She is the woman standing on the left side of the photo with her hand raised.
Once she receives her loan, she will buy 150 bags of water at 500 XOF each. Each bag contains 30 packs of water. It's a profitable business because people drink a lot of water. She is experienced and is doing well.
Her business thrives at markets, in schools, and high-traffic areas. Her water packs sell easily and everybody uses them. The sale of water packs guarantees 100% profit.
She will use her profits to pay for her children's school fees and cover her expenses.
