In the sector of Las Peñas lives Melany, a young woman from the countryside who, since she finished secundary school, has made a living alongside her parents working as a day laborer and raising small animals. She couldn't continue with higher education because of a lack of financial resources. Because her parents are day laborers and live off their daily income, the needs are greater. This is why Melany works tirelessly to support her parents with everything in the household.
Melany is grateful for the help she has received from the Kiva institution, and she is again requesting a loan with which she will buy free-range chickens, hens, rabbits, and guinea pigs, as well as food for them, with the goal to raise them better and in less time. She will sell them and generate earnings in order to provide her parents with the support they need so much in this time of crisis.
