A loan helped to continue his studies toward a degree in International Business.

Steven Dangelo's story

Steven is studying for a degree in International Business at La Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. He lives with his parents. His mother is a teacher and his father is an engineer. Steven is the oldest child and has a younger sister who is in the fifth grade. He is studying for this degree because he enjoys learning different languages, becoming familiar with different cultures, and seeing all of the logistics behind imports and exports. In addition, he enjoys learning how the global world functions.

Steven spends several hours studying for each class so that he can gain a better understanding. When he finishes his degree, he would like to join an export company, an importer, or even start his own business using his knowledge of logistics. However, the obstacle he faces is the high cost of his expenses. For this reason, Steven is requesting the support of Kiva so that he can continue his degree, become a successful professional, and financially support his sister when she enrolls at a university. He is pleased to have the support even though he was not familiar with Kiva at first.

Steven sends the following message: “Thank you for the support since it will be a great help to me as I finish my degree. Please continue to support other people in the future who want to study, but are not able for various reasons. They may have the support of their parents, but without any financial support.”
