A loan helped a member to buy a cow.

Nam Lich 30 Group's story

The ethnic minority woman standing on the right in this photo is Sien. She lives in a stilt house in a remote village in a mountainous province where agriculture is the main source of income. Like most people living here, she does plenty of agricultural activities to earn for living such as cultivating rice, corn, cassava, coffee and breeding poultry, cows. Her husband sometimes works as a hired builder and her son's couple works as hired laborers for a company in another province to have more income.

Staying at home to take care of her grandchildren, she decided to take this loan to invest in breeding, specifically in buying a new cow to expand her business.

She will use the profit to repair her house for better living conditions. She hopes her business will run well in the future.

Thank you, Kiva lenders, for supporting her life.
