Favio Alexander, age 45, is a coffee producer who lives in the region of Jalapa in Nicaragua.
He has a 5.63 hectare farm and 4.23 hectares are dedicated to coffee production. He has a lot of experience as a coffee producer.
Cultivation of coffee is his primary source of income to improve the quality of life of his family.
Thanks to his hard work and dedication to follow good farming practices, his coffee yield has increased each year and with the loans he has received he has been able to buy the inputs necessary for the coffee crop.
This year, he is asking for another loan to complete his goal of applying necessary nutrients such as copper, zinc, and biofertilizers, among others.
At times, he is able to offer employment to 18 people in his community.
