09-Gpf Sope Cheikh Sadbou Group's story

This women's group has existed since May, 2022. They live in the same locality and maintain strong family and friendship bonds. Their main activity is commerce. Kaka [member whose hand is raised in the picture] is the group's representative. She is 49 years old and a mother of 6 children, the youngest being 9 years old.
Kaka is active in business and plans to use this loan to stock her shop. She will buy bissap [a drink made from dried hibiscus flowers] and du pain de singe pour la grème [a popular Senegalese dish made with monkey bread, bissap syrup, and milk].
Kaka uses part of her sales profits to contribute each day to a collective savings group and to meet certain family needs.

In this group: Kaka, Maria, Aby, Soukyna
