This banc villageois was established in the area in 2018. The group consists of these courageous women, who live in the same in the same community. The women are relatives and friends, and they maintain good relationships. Their main activity is trade.

Zidaha is 68 years old and the mother of two children, including one daughter. She runs a small business selling fish and smoked fish. She gets her supplies in Mauritania, where she purchases large quantities of fish to resell at the local market. Zidaha plans to use her profits to reinvest in her business, contribute to household expenses and to grow her savings with the banc villageois.
