A loan helped to buy a range of meats, chicken, fish, vegetables, fruit, disposable containers, and a variety of footwear.

Ana Dorys's story

Ana Dorys and her family live in the city of Portoviejo, which was affected by the earthquake of April 16, 2016. The city is rich in production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruit for domestic consumption.

In the afternoons, she sells a variety of shoes and sandals which a distributor gives her to sell. She visits her customers and they choose what they need. She also takes orders and lets her customers have the items on credit and collects payments weekly.

In the mornings Ana Dorys makes and sells nutritious lunches. Her customers order them in advance and she delivers them with help from her children. She works Monday to Friday.

She needs this loan to buy a range of meats, chicken, fish, vegetables, fruit, disposable containers, and a variety of footwear in different sizes, colours, and styles.
