A loan helped to buy a variety of ingredients for the food she prepares.

Ángela Teodora's story

Angela Teodora and her family live in Charapotó where the people earn their living primarily from agriculture and animal raising. Its vegetable crops are sold in different areas, and its rice is considered the best in Ecuador.

Angela Teodora has a small restaurant in her house where customers go every day to enjoy breakfasts, lunches and traditional dishes from that area, such as tonga [a portion of rice, a fried plantain split down the middle, and a chicken breast, all wrapped in banana leaves], which are ordered and then Angela Teodora delivers to homes.

This loan is to buy a variety of ingredients so she can continue preparing food and providing her customers with the best she can.
