Martha Marlene's story

Martha Marlene and her family live in the city of Portoviejo, which was affected by the earthquake on April 16, 2016. It is rich in the production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruits for domestic consumption.

Martha Marlene has a small facility in her home where she makes chips and the very popular banana snacks (they cut the green ones into very thin slices and deep-fry them in hot oil, then take them out and salt them).

She works from Monday to Sunday. In her free time she also sells clothing from a catalog, offering her customers credit and collecting weekly.

This loan is to buy bananas, oil, bags for packaging, clothing orders, etc.
