Taniha is a young Panamanian from the rural community of Tamarindo, located in a region historically excluded from basic financial services.

Taniha is an energetic and multifaceted entrepreneur who is always trying new things to provide for her family. Taniha, apart from working in agriculture, sells products online and art crafts via Instagram, among other endeavors.

Taniha is applying for her first Kiva loan today to build a pigsty and start a pigs raising micro-enterprise. With the funds, she is aiming to buy the construction materials to build a pigsty and bring in the first round of piglets to start her business.
