This lovely woman is Aziza. She is college educated, is 28 years old, is married, has two children, and is kind and outgoing by nature. Since 2019-2020, she has been working in the Tosk District public health and epidemiological agency. This has been her principal source of income for her family. At present, she is on statutory leave from that job.
Aziza has also been raising livestock and growing crops since 2018, to supplement her income. Thanks to her hard work and her husband's help with the farm, it presently consists of six cows, six horses, 35 sheep, and a 0.38-hectare plot of irrigated land on which she grows various crops according to need.
Her home property offers all the conditions necessary to the keeping of livestock, and the area where she lives is eminently suited to raising farm animals. Every summer the livestock is sent out to fresh pastures.
In order to develop her business further. Aziza is seeking support from Kiva in the amount of 250,000 som (KGS), to buy more livestock. Her aim in this is to increase her headcount. This will unquestionably help raise the farm's productivity and, consequently, the income it brings in. Aziza is hoping to achieve her desired result and create a better life for her family.
