01_Sebi Kip Kip Group's story

This banc villageois, which was set up in the town in September 2013, consists of this group of honest women. They all live in the same district, have a very good relationship with each other and are mutually supportive. Their main business is trading. They have successfully repaid around ten loans.

Madam Marème Soda, the group representative, is 40 years old and is shown standing on the left in the photo with her hand raised. She is married and has seven children, including two girls, three of whom are still at school.

Marème Soda has a shoe selling business. She buys her stock from wholesalers at the central market and resells them door-to-door. She has two years' experience in this field. She is going to buy 132 pairs of men's shoes with her loan, which she will resell, hoping to make a good profit. She manages very well because she has a good customer base.

Her profits enable her to build up her savings and help her husband with the household expenses.

In this group: Marème Soda, Ramatoulaye, Mariama, Awa, Coura, Awa
