She is a young and proactive woman from a small town in rural Panama called Zapallal.

Iris Maribel raises pigs for a living. In order to increase her income, Iris Maribel is applying for her first loan ever to start an ice-cream microenterprise. She has identified the market opportunity and wants to sell the best ice-cream in her town.
