Marialber Yvette's story

Marialber, age 41, is a very humble and hardworking Venezuelan woman. She lives in the city of Ibarra, province of Imbabura. She lives with her husband and daughter. Marialber came to Ecuador seven years ago. Four years ago, she began caring for several children. Also, for one year she has worked selling lunches and arepas in her home. She has done this work in order to have income and to help with household expenses.

Marialber requests a Kiva loan to buy equipment to start a restaurant, because her business has been growing. Marialber is very grateful for the help that Kiva provides, because income she is going to generate will help her to improve her quality of life.
