Reginal's story

Reginal is 52 years old and from Liberia. She is a single mother with 5 children. Reginal attended school up to third grade.

She is a strong businesswoman who sells charcoal. She learned this trade by herself and also started the business with her own savings. She uses a car to transport supplies to her business site and sells Monday through Saturday.

Reginal applied for a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva lending partner. She will use the loan to buy more charcoal to sell to her good clients. She likes her business because it helps to sustain her family. In the future, she wants to increase her business. She is highly grateful for the financial support rendered.
