The banc villageois in which Houleye takes part was put in place in May 2018. It is made up of fearless, hardworking women who have good relationships. Houleye is a 51-year-old married mother of two. She raises animals. Her loan will allow her to buy sheep and pay for the costs linked to her business. With the profits, she plans to add to her savings to better prepare for her repayments, and the rest will go towards meeting the needs of her children and herself.
