Buasia's story

This lovely woman is Buasia. She is 51 years old, is married, and is the mother of six. She has a secondary education, and is kind and outgoing by nature. Buasia has been raising livestock since 1997. Thanks to her hard work and her husband's help with the farm, it presently consists of nine cows, a horse, and five sheep.

Buasia's home property offers all the conditions necessary for the keeping of livestock, and the area where she lives is eminently well suited to livestock breeding. Every summer the animals are sent out to fresh pastures.

In order to develop her business further, Buasia is seeking support from Kiva in the amount of 150,000 som (KGS), to buy more livestock to herd out to pasture. This will unquestionably help boost the farm's productivity and, subsequently, the income it brings in. Buasia is hoping to achieve her desired result and create a better life for her family.
