A loan helped a member to purchase chicken and to expand the retail space.

Flor De Genizaro Group's story

From the department of León, Nicaragua, here is the Flor de Genízaro communal bank, formed by 9 members (two men and seven women). The businesses which stand out the most are selling dairy products, food, neighborhood stores, and selling used clothing.

Alejandra del Carmen (wearing a blue blouse, blue shorts, and sandals), 26 years old, is in a common-law marriage, has two children, and four people live in her house. Her business is an eatery and she has three years of experience. What she likes the most about the business is that it generates earnings for her, that she is independent, and meets many people. She will invest the loan in the purchase of meat and chicken and derivatives, and to improve the space a bit, making it larger. Her dream is to be a successful person and to have a larger eatery.

She advises women to take risks and invest. Your help generates progress for her!
