Suragi's story

Suragi is a resident of Rwakatara Nyabubare Kabira in South western Uganda, where the main economic activity is farming.

He is married to Anifa and is a father of three children. He works hard and obtains his livelihood from his banana plantation, by the sale of matooke. Matooke is a staple food in Uganda made from plantain bananas.

He says his main challenge is the banana wilt affecting his gardens.

He is seeking a loan to mulch his plantation. He asks funders to help him.
