Sonia, 49, lives in the community of La Esperanza. She is married and has two underage children who are studying.
Sonia and her husband work as agricultural day laborers and raise animals. She requests a loan to invest in the construction of a barn to propel her chicken raising business, because at the moment she can only manage a small amount of animals in a brick corral.
With this loan she will buy chickens and build a bigger wood and plastic corral where she can keep more birds. This way she can recover the investment and help to cover the daily household expenses and her children’s education.
