Mr. ADAMA is a 61-year-old farmer who has five children. For eight years, he has been raising sheep and cattle as a revenue-generating business. Not having the means to develop his business, he turned to RMCR with the aim of increasing his revenues. His wife helps him to keep the animals and to look after them.
His supplies are gotten from nearby [fairs] which are potential livestock markets. After taking good care of the animals, he sells them to trustworthy buyers, so as to avoid making late loan repayments. He can generate a profit of at least 65,000 francs CFA per loan cycle.
So the profits from selling livestock enable him to cover the costs of school fees, healthcare, and clothing for the children.
Mr. ADAMA has the ambition of making this livestock farming a revenue-generating business for his children. He says thank you to RMCR for financially including communities excluded by the banking system.
