A loan helped a member to purchase stocks of oil, soap powder, food items, beverages and rice to strengthen her initial capital.

Magnifique Tmk Group's story

Marcelline is a client of the Hekima microfinance institution and president of the Magnifique Tmk village group. She is a widow, 58 years old and the mother of 7 children, 1 of whom is at school.

She sells grocery items and started this business 5 years ago with the start-up funds received from her children. Later she joined the Hekima programme to support her business and during this time she progressively evolved.

With this new loan, she will purchase stocks of oil, soap powder, grocery items, beverages and rice which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge facing her business is linked to the lack of customers.

She would like to develop her business. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they give to business owners who have no cash flow in the context of the global crisis due to covid-19.
